For a person with an intellectual disability, making decisions about things that matter to them can sometimes be challenging, particularly if you don't have family to help.

A volunteer advocate is someone who has a little time to sit and help a person with disability work a few things out so that their voice is heard.

Volunteer advocates come from all walks of life and experience in disability is not necessary as you will undergo an orientation process and always be supported by our staff as you embark on this journey.
