If you enjoy talking to elderly members of our community and if you have some spare time and would like to be a part of a dedicated team of volunteers we would love to hear from you to discuss how you can become involved.

Lots of people living at home may feel a bit isolated and would really enjoy a chat, a friendly visit, a cup of coffee in company, a little walk in their garden or a phone call.

Social interaction is really important and just one hour of your time at your convenience could make a substantial difference in someone’s life.

Volunteers assist in our day care program, by preparing meals, helping people join in activities, driving the bus or assisting the bus driver or through a friendly visiting program.

Depending on your interests and availability, you can get involved in the kitchen, assisting participants to play bingo, offering companionship through conversation or helping out with other activities where necessary.
