Volunteering for CREATE benefits the community, the CREATE Foundation, as well as the volunteer. Participating in CREATE’s volunteer program is a way for individuals and groups to address social needs and to support children and young people in care.

Primary Purpose of the Position To provide support to the CREATE Marketing and Communications team through the coordination of a team of volunteers to support marketing and promotional activities and the clubCREATE Program. Please visit this webpage to learn more about clubCREATE.

Key Area of Responsibility • Coordinate the CREATE volunteer program • Assist in the recruitment, selection and training for volunteers. • Assist in the support of volunteers. • Provide updates on progress to the Marketing Manager • Coordinate and participate in activities identified by the National Marketing and Communications Manager.

Essential Skills • Commitment to child safety and wellbeing • Ability to coordinate teams of volunteers • Good written communication skills • High level interpersonal skills • Good administration skills, including ability to use MS Word, Excel and Outlook Key Result Areas • Effective coordination of the national volunteer program • Corporate and community volunteer relationships are successfully built and maintained • Volunteer resources and records are effectively administered to deliver program benefits • High levels of communication with both external and internal stakeholders to ensure relevant goals are met and issues are responded to appropriately
