Volunteer Drivers required to transport young people with refugee background to sports club trainings and games in Brisbane and Ipswich. Weekday evening and weekend opportunities to assist with transport and help young refugees connect with their communities through sport.

Using own vehicle, you will collect your allocated young person/s from their home, transport them to the sports training ground and ensure the participant is included and comfortable at training session or game. After training or game, you will transport the young person back to their home.

Depending on your availability, the Volunteer Coordinator will assign you a young person/s on a regular basis to support at their club training or games. Volunteers are typically needed weekday evenings typically between 5pm to 10pm when club trainings are held (including travel time) or on weekends to transport the young people to club games around the Brisbane and Ipswich areas.

If you are supportive of young people from refugee background, and would like to welcome them to Australia, we want to hear from you. A love of sport is not essential but makes the job more enjoyable.
