For those who might not be suited to operational duties, our support members play a crucial role in maintaining our service's effectiveness. These non-operational roles include welfare, communications, and peer support, allowing individuals to make a difference in other vital ways.

Additionally, our volunteers are dedicated to promoting fire education within the community. Through partnerships with schools, service groups, seniors' homes, and local businesses, they help spread vital information about fire safety and prevention. To equip our volunteers for these important tasks, comprehensive training is offered by DFES Fire Services managers.
