• Be a friendly, welcoming face for our clients • Ensure the atmosphere is relaxed and happy for our clients • View and sign off checklist (located at the front of the Bus log book) prior to commencement of outing • Bus driver to check clients attending the outing details (located in Bus log book) and if relevant inform the Bus Assistant of any information they may need to know to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the clients attending the outing. • When required tick off the clients as they join the bus for the outing • Refer to the office if any person attending the outing is not on the outing run sheet • When required answer any calls received on the mobile phone • If any client does not answer their door as expected, ring the office for further instructions • Take control of the vehicle log book, keeping it secure so clients do not have access to the information contained in the folder • When required ensure that all clients have their seatbelts on before the bus moves off and they do not remove seatbelts until the bus has come to a complete stop. • Assist clients into venues if required.
