The South Hedland Soup Kitchen operates Monday to Friday 4.00pm-5.30pm at the South Hedland Sobering Up Centre. New Soup Kitchen volunteers are always most welcome! Please contact us to arrange an induction and paperwork so that we can help get you started and a part of our volunteer team!

This is an essential service for our community. Volunteers that have not recently travelled overseas, and are fit and well are welcome to apply. Bloodwood Tree will ensure appropriate COVID19 precautions for all volunteers and clients.

Volunteers must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19, and need to be over the age of 16. Volunteer opportunities are available Monday-Friday between 4.00pm-5.30pm. Roster is flexible to suit volunteer availability. No experience required. Duties will include heating frozen meals with microwaves and providing meals to vulnerable and in need clients.
