Leaders, who must be female, work on a regular basis with girls in aged based units to deliver a program based on personal development through practical activities. Training is provided at no cost to the volunteer and activities are wide ranging depending on the needs and ideas of the girls. Units generally meet weekly after school during school terms.
While ideally uniformed Leaders complete a qualification program there are also roles for non-uniformed helpers with a lower commitment level. With more adult helpers we are able to enroll more girls in the program and offer a broader range of activities.
