Female volunteer for visits to elderly lady in Moorabbin who loves to play cards

Share your smile and companionship during friendly visits with an isolated Ukrainian elderly lady living in her own home in Moorabbin. She loves to play cards and would love to teach you one of her favourite games.

A female volunteer is requested for this role. She would like a visitor 50 + years old to chat with each week. Your regular visits can make a real and positive difference in the life of this resident - reducing social isolation and improving well-being.

We ask volunteers to commit to minimum fortnightly visits for at least 6 months, however this is an ongoing role & we hope to support your friendship for as long as possible.

Volunteers receive training, orientation, ongoing support, travel reimbursement and invitations to meetings together with other visiting volunteers.
