Volunteering with EdConnect Australia is mightily rewarding! Support children in schools in many different ways, depending on your interests, skills and school needs.
(A MINIMUM of ONE hour/week volunteering requested) EdConnect matches volunteers with young people in schools, who just need extra help and guidance to enhance their academic and social achievement. Volunteers of all ages, and from all walks of life, bring new skills, new stories and new faces into the lives of students within the school environment, to enrich students’ lives, often bringing stability and a trusted confidant where it may be lacking in a young person’s life. EdConnect’s training will help prepare you for your volunteer role. EdConnect’s team is here to help make sure your EdConnect volunteering is rewarding, impactful and memorable. During the year, EdConnect’s ConnectEd initiatives make sure there are various online and in-person events to attend, from volunteer catch-ups, refresher training and workshops to more formal functions - all a great way to connect with like-minded people, changing lives like you, with other students in other schools. EdConnect’s volunteers are principally placed within government schools – we hope one of our partner schools is convenient to you.
