Mandarin speaking female volunteer to visit elderly Chinese lady in Glenroy Vic

Bring a smile and cheer up this elderly lady talking in their language (Mandarin) and about their culture during weekly friendly visits in Glenroy. A female volunteer is requested for this role. Visits may be spent talking or sharing in a simple leisure activity together. Your regular visits can make a real and positive difference in their life - reducing social isolation and improving well-being.

We ask volunteers to commit to weekly visits for at least 6 months, however this is an ongoing role & we hope to support your friendship for as long as possible.

Volunteers receive training, orientation and ongoing support.
