The marketing and community outreach officer(s) will be responsible for maximizing online exposure for the festival and increasing ticket sales and audience attendance. You will be blowing the trumpet, waving the flag and ensuring that as many people know about the festival as possible.

Tasks include:

• Marketing the festival to start up, sustainability, innovation, change maker and community outreach groups • Helping maintain and build on relationships with partners for the event, and organising the partner party to be held a month out from the event • Ensuring the event’s inclusion in free events listings, on relevant Facebook pages and on blogs • Helping to grow the TFF mailing list • Building a database of events listing sites and uploading all events listings • Administer the festival ticket giveaways process and notify winners • Creating and co-ordinating content for and with partners



• Passion for social and environmental impact, and marketing • Attention to detail • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to prioritise and complete tasks to a deadline • Ability to process large amounts of information • Love of spreadsheets • Reliability • Comfortable working with templates and databases and programs such as Excel and Googledocs,

Highly Regarded:

• Completed or studying a degree in marketing, communications or related field and interest in developing a career in impact marketing • Previous experience in a similar role • Frequent connectivity to the internet • Interested in the environmental and for-purpose ecosystems nationally
