What does it take to be a TSP Learning Partner/Mentor?

As a Learning Partner we require you to be responsive to the individual needs of our students. • Support could include helping to devise a study schedule, assistance with navigating online learning, guidance to seek support from their educational institution, having conversations about the work they are learning, assisting in research and finding information online and in the library. • The learning partner is not expected to assist with writing assessments, completing online exams, giving specific answers to course questions. • The program will require you to assist the student once a fortnight through one on one mentoring. You will receive training before you start in your role as a volunteer. • Minimum commitment as a volunteer learning partner is three months. Maximum time is for 12 months. • 1-2 hrs per fortnight
