The Boroondara Volunteer Resource Centre is advertising this role on behalf of You Matter.

At You Matter, we create welcoming styled homes using good quality second hand and new items donated by the community. We use these donated items to provide the gift of a fully functioning home for victims of domestic violence. We require volunteers to collect furniture and household items from the public ina team of at least two and deliver to a central location.

Tasks and Responsibilities: In this role you will be collecting furniture and household items from donors within Boroondara and surrounding areas. You will need a drivers license, a large car or the ability to attach and tow a provided trailer. Some heavy lifting would be involved. This is a flexible role which can be worked around times that suit you.
