Citizen Advocacy
Logo for Citizen Advocacy

Citizen Advocacy is a not-for-profit organisation funded by the Australian Government through the Department of Social Services. Our aim is to empower vulnerable people with an intellectual disability by matching them with a caring member of the community who becomes their friend and advocate. You don’t need special qualifications, but a driver’s licence is usually required. We provide all relevant training and support. If you have some spare time and want to help, please get in touch. We’d love to hear from you!
PLEASE NOTE: The nature of this role is not suitable for student placements or gaining work experience in the sector. We are unable to sign forms for Centrelink purposes.
