This position will report to the Volunteer Manager and required to help generate potential sponsorship and partnership leads for the organisation. Help secure funding and organise events to promote our cause.

You are required to possess the following:

  •  Educational qualifications in marketing, communications and/or event management 
  • Possess strong event management skills in organising events 
  • Develop and implement a sponsorship budget to achieve the sales goals
  • Managing the sponsorship strategy development and planning stages 
  • Develop, maintain and implement sponsorship programs to achieve the organization's goals
  • Have confident in securing funding and donations from potential sponsors and donors
  • Good communications skills in drafting proposals and letters 
  • Solid use of social media to generate leads and promote our cause
  • Well respected in the community and your industry
  • Ability to balance our voluntary and/or not for profit sector objectives with the need to be commercially sustainable in an ever changing environment
