The 5000meals program brings together students, chefs and food agencies to support communities in need. Come and help out on Saturday mornings at Cyril Jackson Senior High School from 9am where Chef Tanya starts the day with what's happening before then assigning people to tasks. You will be required to wear enclosed shoes and your hair tied back, we provide the aprons. Following directions from Chef, help to set up the kitchen, assist with the preparation and packaging of the meals, and clean up at the end of the pre. Tasks will include cutting, peeling, chopping, cooking, measuring, cleaning as you go and having fun with other like minded people. The coronavirus has impacted many people within both your community and mine. Your help is invaluable in making a difference to someone who is unable to obtain healthy, tasty meals. You are the program. If you enjoy your experience, mandatory documentation will be sent out for you to complete and return. A Working with Children Check is required of which Prepare Produce Provide will reimburse you the $11 fee.
