This volunteer opportunity will help to assist in the running all aspects of a retail shop to directly fund our 24-hour crisis support line. Your few hours volunteering can and will save lives!
Your energetic contribution of time to assist with donations, shop presentation and point of sale. We invite anyone with a customer first approach to service to join our volunteer team.
We have a large store in Domain Central with two staff and a couple volunteers. We put out a large quantity of stock everyday. The people here are friendly and hard workers. We would love to welcome new volunteers to our store!
Tasks involved include: ▪ Point of Sale transactions ▪ Stock preparation ▪ Shop presentation ▪ Labeling and pricing stock ▪ Customers service
This is a great opportunity to: ▪ Gain invaluable workplace experience ▪ Improve mental health and personal well-being ▪ To meet mutual obligations, student placement hours or other requirements
▪ Customer service or retail experience advantageous but not essential
