Volunteering with HammondCare At Home is one way you can give something back to the aged or frail in our society. Not only does volunteering have an impact on the person you spend time with, but you'll learn a lot and meet new people.
An elderly lady in the South Turramurra area would enjoy your company each week. She has a love for craft and used to teach sewing. She would love to chat over a cuppa and reminisce on her years spent in different parts of NSW. Due to Covid19, you'll be chatting over the phone and we hope to return to regular home visits in the future.
If you have one hour on Wednesday mornings and you'd like to improve an older woman’s life by providing companionship, we would love to hear from you. You'll receive training as well as the ongoing support from our Volunteer Coordinator.
When you submit your enquiry, can you please include a statement on why you're interesting in volunteering.
