The Front of House Manager is one of the most important roles of the Theatre Group being the public 'face' of the Theatre. The role includes controlling the financial side of the kiosk, managing stock levels and purchasing of stock for the kiosk. Tasks also include organising volunteer helpers roster for the kiosk for performance dates, greeting patrons as they arrive and serving tea/coffee/light snacks/cold drinks to patrons during intermission. The Front of House Manager is also responsible for the safety of patrons as they are the key person in an evacuation for the audience members. The applicant/s need to be confident, welcoming and personable and the role can be undertaken by an individual, couple or a team. The role ideally requires consistency and commitment for a year, however shorter term could be possible.
