Cape Conran is a spectacular Coastal Park in East Gippsland once dominated by Banksias and Manna Gums. Unfortunately the Park was severely impacted by the 2020 bushfires. We are seeking up to 10 regional volunteers to assist with recovery efforts. Volunteers will be removing burnt tea trees around the wilderness huts. The activity will be physically demanding.
Where: Banskia Bluff Campground
When: Sunday 1st November and Monday 2nd November
Time: 9am - 3pm both days
All Parks Victoria volunteer activities will be managed in alignment with the Department of Health and Human Services guidelines for coronavirus (COVID-19) including the need for physical distancing, face masks and good hygiene.
All volunteers will need to provide their own hygiene supplies including hand sanitiser and face masks. Volunteers are also asked to bring with them the following items; hat, gloves, sturdy footwear, safety glasses, wet weather gear, drink bottle, sunscreen and food.
To register for a volunteer activity, please go to Park Connect.
