Female volunteer 50+ required for visits to elderly Male in Mornington (VIC)

We are looking for an enthusiastic female volunteer (50+) to brighten up the day of an elderly Male living in Mornington.  Visits may be spent talking or sharing in a simple leisure activity together. Your regular visits can make a real and positive difference in the life of this Man - reducing social isolation and improving well-being.

We ask volunteers to commit to minimum fortnightly visits for at least 6 months, however this is an ongoing role & we hope to support your friendship for as long as possible.

Volunteers receive training, orientation, ongoing support, travel reimbursement and invitations to meetings together with other visiting volunteers.

The Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme is a government funded initiative.
