In this Centrelink approved position you’ll be working closely with other volunteers ensuring matches are starting and ending on time. Announcements are generally at the beginning of each time slot, half time, and towards the end of each time slot. Time slots is 45 mins long, are generally 6pm, 7pm and 8pm. During the matches, you also have the opportunity to mingle with members and have a bit of fun, however being at the microphone for the critical match announcements is the key responsibility. This role will suit someone with a clear speaking voice, who can work well with a team, who wants to be part of an inclusive organisation and who prides themselves on being a positive role model. This role can be shared if you would like to do it with a friend and the public speaking experience would look great on a resume too.
