  • Facilitate active rescues and transport of sick, injured or orphaned wildlife through coordination of volunteers and rescuers
  • Provide timely, informed and accurate advise to all community members regarding native wildlife
  • Liase with shelter operators, foster carers, vet clinics and other animal organisations
  • Record all calls in spreadsheets provided
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Follow up on every rescue call
  • Adhere to Warriors 4 Wildlife policies and procedures
  • Agree to uphold Warriors 4 Wildlife Inc's values
  • Represent the organisation at all times in a friendly and professional manner
  • Hands on experience with wildlife is desirable
  • Phone operator experience
  • Customer service experience
  • Competent in computers and technology
  • Great at problem solving
  • Time management skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Willing to work independently and part of a team

Highly Regarded but not essential

  • Knowledge of wildlife rescue, rehabilitation and release
  • Knowledge of laws and regulations regarding wildlife in Victoria
  • Education in animal studies, wildlife and or conservation
