The Relay For Life Team Recruitment Coordinator is responsible for identifying and recruiting new teams for the Sunshine Coast Relay For Life event. This is an ideal opportunity for a person who is looking to gain valuable experience in event promotion.
Relay For Life raises vital funds for research, prevention, information and support services. It is a chance for the community to recognise and celebrate local cancer survivors, patients, and their carers, as well as honour loved ones lost to cancer.
We are looking for a person with the following knowledge, skills, and experience:
Well-developed communication skills, both written and spoken.
Demonstrated ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds.
Outgoing, friendly and great public speaking skills.
Demonstrated experience in recruitment would be highly regarded.
The ideal volunteer will be available 1-2 hours per week. It is estimated that there will be one committee meeting per month, with frequency increasing closer to the Relay For Life date.
