The Salvation Army St Kilda Chapel has an opportunity for a handyperson to join their friendly team.
Utilising your skills in general maintenance you will have capacity to carry out general maintenance activities including basic repairs, replacements and adjustments to furniture and equipment on site. St Kilda Chapel is looking for someone who can assist to create a safe and welcoming environment for the Corps and Community Services.
You will have a good understanding of the importance of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) and be diligent in maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
Being comfortable with tools would make you a perfect fit for this meaningful volunteer role. Ability to use basic gardening and maintenance equipment is desirable but not essential as some training can be provided on site.
This desirable role would suit a tradesperson or experienced handyperson.
Integrity checks will be a requirement of this role.
