Volunteer Donation Pickup Drivers are responsible for collecting and receipting goods that have been donated to Rev. Bill Crews Foundation throughout the greater Sydney Metropolitan Area.
Volunteer Donation Pickup Drivers will drive Rev. Bill Crews Foundation’s Toyota Hiace van in a safe and professional manner to collect donations in accordance with the listed standard operating procedure (SOP).
Duties and Role Functions: Volunteer Donations Pickup Drivers represent Rev. Bill Crews Foundation within the community through their interaction with donors and their driving on public roads. Due to highly visible nature of this role, it is important that all volunteers who contribute their time in this role maintain a high standard of professionalism at all times.
Work Experience and Skills Required:
- Current NSW Driver’s license – Class C
- Current Driver History Check (renew every 6 months)
- Completed Rev. Bill Crews Foundation Driver Training
- Excellent safety oriented driving skills
- Pass a Working with Children Safety check
- Basic knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety
Highly Desirable
- Experience working in a NFP environment
- Knowledge of greater Sydney roadways
- 1st Aid certification

- Not present for work under the influence of drugs and alcohol
- Display courtesy and professionalism to present Rev. Bill Crews Foundation in a positive light at all times
- Good spoken and written English
- Work well with others, and at all levels of the organisation
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

All volunteer Donations Pickup Drivers are required to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when operating Exodus Vehicles. Required PPE includes;
- Work safe boots, long pants, and a Hi Vis vest or shirt.
Rev. Bill Crews Foundation is a Covid-19 safe organisation. Our safety procedures on site include i.e. daily temperature checks for all volunteers, staff and guests, socially distanced working environments and sanitising stations at all entrances. In addition to this, masks and gloves must be worn by all volunteers during their shifts and there is a Covid-19 marshal on site.
