This is quite often a chance for a merchant to showcase their products so prizes offered in this way are commonly promoted with the merchant's name and the value of the prize. For this reason we need to maintain a respectful relationship with donors and they may become a regular feature of our fundraising efforts.
By the same token, a prize has to be attractive to pursue and so we are typically dealing with something of value to someone. Sometimes prizes are package deals with a unique twist or feature that captures the attention or imagination of the reader. Identifying the target market is a key element of a successful raffle.
You may wish to stretch your imagination to explore the different platforms through which the raffle can be presented e.g. Twitter, Facebook or other media. Alternatively some raffles can be more localised.
