Responsibilities:

• assessing and meeting the organisation's needs through the recruitment, placement and retention of volunteers • managing, assessing, accrediting and rewarding all volunteers • researching and writing volunteer policies and procedures • ensuring there is appropriate support and training for volunteers • promoting volunteering through recruitment and publicity strategies and campaigns • interviewing and recruiting volunteers and ensure they are appropriately matched and trained for a position • rosters • keeping up to date with legislation and policy related to volunteering and make any necessary modifications to accommodate changes • maintaining our volunteer management system and undertaking associated administrative duties • contributing positively as a team member to achieve team objectives • managing disciplinary actions when needed with compassion and fairness • complying with safety requirements and report all non-compliance to the team leader • complying with policies • taking all reasonable care for personal health and safety; and taking reasonable care that personal acts or omissions do not adversely affect the health and safety of other persons
