Noongar Mia Mia is an Aboriginal owned and controlled company that is proud to provide and manage rental accommodation exclusively for First Nations people and their families. At any given time, we house up to 490 people, and provide an intensive, intergenerational model of support and advocacy to help them overcome key homelessness risk factors.
We understand the unique Family, Community and Cultural characteristics of First Nations people and are recognised as a socially and culturally aware valued supplier of affordable housing for First Nations People in Western Australia.
We're currently looking for a Communications Officer (volunteer) on an ad-hoc basis to help us with the following:
- Social media management (Facebook, LinkedIn)
- Email marketing (newsletter)
We'd prefer it if you can do the following as well:
- Basic graphic design
- Formatting brochures, reports, etc. in InDesign (preferred, but not essential)
Remote is OK, but we'd prefer if you can come to our office in Maylands for an initial induction and so we can meet each other in person.
