The program Red Cross has been responding to emergencies and providing humanitarian assistance in Australia since 1914. We are committed to strengthening and extending our emergency aid services to assist all Australians prepare for, respond to and recover from emergencies.

The opportunity Emergency Services Team Convenor Volunteer role is suited to someone over the age of 18 who has experience leading large teams, working with and supporting volunteers and high level organisation and communication skills. The ES Team Convenor contributes to activities that assist in the delivery of national and state Australian Red Cross ES core activities and functions that help people to prepare for, respond to, and recover from emergencies and disasters.

The impact As an Emergency Services Team Convenor volunteer, you’ll help people to be better prepared, better connected to each other and more resilient when emergencies happen. Red Cross will ensure you have training, ongoing support and access to other opportunities within the World’s largest humanitarian network.
