Brotherhood Books Inventory Management Support

Brotherhood Books is BSL’s online second-hand bookstore, sourced by donations received from the public. Volunteers sort, clean and price high-quality donated books, upload inventory onto our website, as well as picking and packing orders for dispatch, and general administrative and warehouse tasks.
With over 40,000 titles online and counting, there is always something to keep you interested at Brotherhood Books.
We pride ourselves on being flexible, and we will always try to find a role that matches your skills and availability. No specific experience is required, just a desire to help out. We’ll ensure you have all the training, support and guidance you need to feel confident in your new role. You’ll also love our location. We’re very close to the Melbourne CBD and easily accessible by car or public transport.
Why volunteer with Brotherhood Books?
Our book room is a lively mixture of work and play and you’ll learn a lot about books. You’ll meet lovely people from all walks of life with incredibly humbling stories, make new friends and create meaningful connections. You’ll learn new skills that will boost your confidence, look great on your resume and help your career.
Most importantly, you’ll experience a great sense of reward knowing that your help supports the most vulnerable members of our community with a brighter future. You’ll also help us continue to raise funds for the Brotherhood of St. Laurence (BSL) and its many life changing community programs, services and research it undertakes to address the fundamental causes of poverty in Australia.
