Community Visitor Scheme, Busselton

St John of God Hospital

The Community Visitors Scheme is an Australian Government funded program that matches volunteers with people living in local aged care homes. It aims to enrich the quality of life of the residents who may be socially isolated or lonely. By befriending an older person in an aged care home, you have the wonderful opportunity to make a huge difference to their life – and your own! We can match men with men and women with women with the aim of building friendships and decreasing social isolation. If you are interested and have an hour to spare each week, please register your interest.
