We know it’s important to stay socially connected with family, friends and community groups.

Our Residential Aged Care Residence, Costa House, delivers a range of services to meet residents’ health and lifestyle needs while providing opportunities for choice and independence. We are proud to host over 100 volunteers across varied roles that assist staff to deliver personalised care and support on a daily basis.

Our Volunteer Tea Trolley & Dining Assistants assists the Leisure & Lifestyle Coordinator, or their delegate, to provide morning and afternoon tea to residents. Volunteers are responsible to take the tea and coffee trolley through the wards offering refreshments to residents in the comfort of their rooms each morning and afternoon, with the support of a catering staff member. Following this volunteers will support staff to set up the dining room for meal service.

This service is essential to supporting residents to have essential fluids. It is also a highly regarded service by the residents!
