Midwest Community Living are offering arts and crafts sessions for their customers to support confidence building, social connection, self expression and development of new skills.
We are seeking two enthusiastic volunteers to plan and implement arts and crafts activities. The volunteers will have the ability to teach interesting and varied arts and crafts to a small group of people with a disability. The estimated time required for the role will be 1.5 hours for the session plus set up and pack down time for 8 weeks duration.
The volunteer Arts and Crafts Instructor(s) will be required to plan and prepare an 8 week activity schedule, including material lists, to be sent to the Customer Service Coordinator a minimum of 1 week prior to the scheduled lesson/activity. These will be supplied by MWCLA and left in the group room. The activity sessions will begin as soon as possible.
We are looking for two volunteers - so that we can hold a morning and an afternoon session each week. We can negotiate a suitable time and day with each volunteer.
