Versatile and dynamic applicant sought to provide assistance in the John McCrae Centre social activity group, Toorak. The Centre offers participants with an opportunity to participate in social activities including outings, craft and light exercise. Activities are based on the expressed interests of participants including a nutritious meal as well as excursions.

The selected applicant will have a willingness to work flexibly to undertake tasks associated with the day to day operation of the Centre. These tasks may include support in the transportation process of clients, the facilitation of social activities as well as providing assistance in the kitchen to prepare meals provided to participants.

The role requires an outgoing, enthusiastic applicant with a ‘can do’ attitude. The applicant will demonstrate an ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as the confidence to work independently. Opportunities available on Wednesday and Thursday. You must be an effective communicator with an ability to create a positive interaction with participants at the Centre. Experience in group facilitation will be highly regarded. The successful applicant will require a safe Food Handling certificate.
