We are recruiting energetic and motivated people to be part of our friendly team at Volunteering NQ to help us find, match and refer the right volunteer to the right position within eligible organisations throughout North Queensland.

This position offers great opportunities for experience within the office environment.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

VOLUNTEER REFERRALS: Help people find a suitable volunteering opportunity by Email, telephone and face-to-face appointments

VOLUNTEER PLACEMENT: Follow-up volunteer referrals to see if positions were accepted or if further assistance is required.

RECORD KEEPING: Using the in-house VIKTOR and Asana database to keep records of referrals.

TASKS INCLUDE: Interviews, phone calls, emails, data entry and record keeping

The suitable volunteer should have basic computer skills and be committed to providing great customer service. On the job training will be provided.
