The role will require people to: • Advertise and recruit skilled volunteers • Induct and complete orientation for new volunteers • Identify volunteer training, learning and development opportunities if they arise

Key responsibilities:

• Recruitment of skilled volunteers • Maintain volunteer records • Maintain policies, procedures and volunteer handbook • Upgrade volunteer processes • Ensure volunteer database is updated • Mentor and guide our Volunteer Administrator • Attending monthly committee meetings (in person or by Zoom) • Providing a monthly report reflecting sub-committee activities at each meeting • Sending any newsletter requests 1 week prior to publishing

Key Skills: • Previous experience in Human Resource management or a similar position • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with a diverse range of people • Excellent communication skills • Enthusiastic about helping to achieve Bicycles for Humanity’s key goals

Desirable skills: • Experience working in a small not-for-profit and/or community sector • Ability to work autonomously and demonstrate initiative and flexibility • Good team player and the ability to work autonomously • Experience with Microsoft Office 365, Teams and Salesforce Personal Attributes • High level of integrity, honesty and commitment • Highly motivated and team player • Adaptable to change • A high level of initiative and can-do attitude • Attention to quality and detail • Strong communication and networking skills
