During these challenging times we need volunteers more than ever to support isolated people in our community to feel socially connected again. If you’re a ‘people person’ and would like to make a difference to someone’s life, we would love to hear from you!
Glen* is a quick-witted and friendly man looking for someone to share in his interest of cars, mechanics and building in the shed! You'll need patience, a good sense of humour and be able to drive Glen* into town for a coffee on occasion. Glen* is available for weekly or fortnightly visits, and flexible with days.
The selected applicant will provide companionship, and support Glen* to achieve his social goals. Valid driver’s license and car necessary. Practical communication skills and confidence to work independently are a must.
*Participant's name has been altered to maintain his privacy. Interested? For further information, please Call 13 93 75 and quote TD-G-05.
