Jean* enjoys reading, and would be best suited to an outgoing, positive, understanding, patient volunteer with the ability to creatively reconnect her with her interests. These include gardening, sewing and playing the piano. Practical communication skills and a willingness to share home and community based visits are essential.
Visits may include visiting Chadstone shopping for a coffee and some personal shopping. You will have a valid driver’s license and your own car to transport Jean* in during visits. The skills and confidence to work independently are a must. Induction, ongoing supervision and opportunities for professional development provided.
