During these challenging times we need volunteers more than ever, to support isolated people in our community to feel socially connected again. If you’re a ‘people person’ and would like to make a difference to the life of someone who is socially isolated we would love to hear from you!

Jane* enjoys craft, crocheting, knitting, sewing and word search. Jane* would like an engaging, social, positive, patient, respectful volunteer who shares her interests. Practical communication skills and a willingness to share home and community based visits are essential. Visits may include going for a walk, having a cup of tea, lunch at a local café or engaging in craft activities at home.

You will have a valid driver’s license and your own car to transport Jane* in during visits. The skills and confidence to work independently are a must. Induction, ongoing supervision and opportunities for professional development provided.

*Participant's name has been altered to maintain her privacy. Interested? For further information, please contact 13 93 75 and quote DE-S-05. **Please note that during COVID-19 visits will take place in line with Uniting and government COVID safe guidelines.
