Admin and Office Support Volunteer - Adelaide

The program

The Social Inclusion department focuses on strengthening people’s capacity to participate in community life, maintain or regain independence and stay in their own home for longer. Red Cross does this by providing Transport and Telephone Support services to older people experiencing social isolation and/or are frail and require assistance with daily living.

The opportunity

The Office Support Volunteer will provide quality administrative support to the day-to-day operations of the Social Inclusion department. This role suits someone who has experience in general administration, responding to emails, phone correspondence and handling mini projects. You must demonstrate strong communication and customer service skills and maintain client confidentiality at all times.

You will be able to maintain accurate records using the Red Cross database and follow organisational procedures. Confidence learning and using new multiple computer programs, databases and systems is essential, as is an eye for detail.
