Key Responsibilities • Administration duties such as data entry, stationary orders, mail deliveries and stock deliveries/pickups, as required • Meeting/greeting visitors and taking phone messages for Office Manager • Assisting with the development and continuous improvements of operations
Skills and Knowledge • A high level of customer service skills • An alignment with and empathy for people from all community sectors • Communication skills - written and verbal with a wide range of stakeholders • A sound level of computer skills in the ICT office environment.

Work Health and Safety Requirements • Covered shoes to be worn at all times whilst onsite • Manual handling of up to fifteen (15) kilograms with lifting, bending, reaching up and down • Ladder and trolley usage (pushing and pulling movements) • If driving a Society vehicle, a valid drivers license must be held and a copy provided • Personal protective equipment as required is provided and is to beused as instructed

We need to have reasonable confidence that members, volunteers and employees, particularly those who have access to vulnerable persons we are assisting, are of suitable character and do not expose these persons to unacceptable risk. Therefore, volunteers may be required to have a WWVP Card. If you don't have one, we will help you apply for it.
