Set 'In the Canefields' in what was once Pimpama Island, the hall (Community Centre) is a historic building, built by locals in 1917 as a meeting place and dance hall to service the community.

We are passionate about the history of our building and about having it sustain its existence, thus preserving it for use of generations to come. We are a group where if something needs doing we all tend to get in and do it.

We are seeking someone who wants to join our team, we work primarily Mondays, with any additional days dependent on our needs and events at the centre. You would have specific responsibilities in respect of the administrative side of the role, and other tasks are more of an as needed basis, depending on what is currently required for events, functions or activities. Some tasks would be promotional or PR in character. Day to Day tasks will be allocated by the Admin Officer, to whom you would second in command.
