EXTERNAL CoM MEMBER RECRUITMENT
ABOUT THE ROLE
MCCCC is currently undergoing improvements to its governance processes and systems and is looking to appoint new volunteer members to the Committee of Management (‘CoM’) from beyond the current membership of MCCCC family members. As the Committee of Management (or Board of Directors), the CoM is the legally constituted body that holds the licence to provide childcare and manage MCCCC. While the day to day operations are managed by our Director and Management Team, the CoM is responsible for strategic and governance decisions.
MCCCC has a committed family and staff community who are looking forward to ensuring MCCCC can grow and develop as an organisation under a broader membership CoM.
We are seeking dedicated professionals with a commitment to good governance who possess skills, experience or interest in any of the following areas:
- Early childhood education
- Grant writing
- Senior management experience
- Policy, risk management and compliance skills
- Marketing, media and communications
WHAT YOU CAN GET OUT OF THE ROLE If you are looking to make a contribution to the lives of children and families in the Moreland area, this is the Committee for you. You will have the opportunity to learn how a Board operates, how to manage a business, learn how to influence, how to design and execute strategy, and the skills necessary to ensure good governance. This volunteer role would suit someone looking to gain skills at an executive level.
