As a program support volunteer, your role is to support staff in preparing and implementing programs that are run for members of our community. Tasks will be varied dependent on the nature of the program and may include assisting with administrative tasks or set up and pack up of activities and equipment.

Programs include individualized and group social support, light exercise groups and cooking groups. This role works within a team to facilitate these programs.

You must have or be willing to obtain Working with Children’s Check (WWCC) • Have or be willing to obtain Current First Aid certificate. • Be a good listener and effective communicator • Be compassionate and non-judgmental • Understand the causes of vulnerability and a capacity to support vulnerable groups and individuals.
