Operational Support Officer - Volunteer
This role supports Parkinson’s Queensland’s small team in delivering vital information and assistance to individuals and families impacted by Parkinson’s disease. Every task, no matter how small, contributes to enhancing their quality of life. The role offers diverse opportunities, with tasks based on current needs and your capabilities, making a meaningful difference to the community while providing valuable experience and flexibility.
Tasks may include:
- Maintaining a database of services in the community who delivery activities and support for people with Parkinson’s
- Assisting in developing information packs that are sent to people who contact us
- Assist with administration requirements for our Support Groups across Qld
- Maintaining our library resources and assisting with borrowing processes
- Developing resources to assist in information sharing for contacts and members
- Researching information and educational content to assist contacts and members
- Participate enthusiastically in PQI awareness, fundraising and promotional events
- Other tasks decided between yourself and PQI.
