Assist the laundry staff in our new, state-of-the-art laundry facility at Heathcote to manage resident's clean clothing, including:

  • folding clean clothes.
  • attach name labels to new resident's clothing.
  • deliver clean clothes to the facility wings.
  • other duties as needed (e.g. assist to put resident's clean clothes away if required).

During the COVID-19 pandemic volunteers are more important than ever, especially as our residents navigate the difficulties of isolation. Your presence and positivity will be essential. Because the pandemic can bring sudden changes, SCVS will continue to follow the guidance proposed by governing health bodies around the safe inclusion of volunteers at our local facilities. Please be conscious that there may be delays to your recruitment or availability at a facility as a result.
