Volunteer Assistants will work alongside an experienced Supervisor to assist in the running of our library sessions.

Key duties include:

• collecting toys for click & collect orders, checking, counting pieces and organising toys.
• Entering loans & returns into our online software system.
• Checking safety and cleanliness of toys and entering missing/damaged pieces or toys into our software.
• Housekeeping duties, cleaning toys and general cleaning.

Volunteering for our toy library is a great way to meet new people with similar values and interests.

The ideal applicant should have:

• strong attention to detail
• ability to operate a computer and tablet (or willingness to learn)
• welcoming and friendly manner
• enjoy interacting with families and children
• ability to read and write in English
