Uniting Social Support Program keeps people connected to the community to support them to live a happy and healthy life. The program assists people to keep doing the things they love. Whatever ‘living life to the fullest’ looks like for them, we support to make it happen.

We are currently looking for a kind and caring person to support Linda Linda describes herself as an introvert and prefers one on one interactions rather than a group, although she does love to chat and meeting new people, Linda enjoys reading, gardening, knitting, puzzles and walking her dog. She also likes watching motor sports on TV. Linda prefers to be connected to a warm, patient and positive mature female volunteer who has similar interests, can talk about a broad range of subjects,

She would like to spend the time going for a walk and then having some light refreshments. Linda would like a weekly visit either on a Tuesday or Wednesday in the early afternoon. An affinity for animals is essential as Linda* has a small dog.

A valid Australian driver’s license and car necessary for transporting Joanne in during visits. Induction, ongoing supervision and opportunities for professional development provided.
